The Splendid Features of Fullscreen Anything
Fullscreen Anything is not your ordinary
video player
. This high-performing Chrome extension takes
entertainment apps
to the next level by allowing any content on your screen to fill the browser window. With a simple click of a button or a press of Ctrl+Space, you can now enjoy fullscreen images, videos, and even games without the pesky advertisements.
What's more? Fullscreen Anything is built with an understanding of the modern, multi-tasking user. As the content fills the browser window instead of the entire screen, you can toggle between tabs as your video continues to play in fullscreen mode. It's an ideal feature for those who love to multi-task while watching their favorite online videos.
Why Fullscreen Anything is Among the Best Chrome Extensions
User reviews are a testament to why Fullscreen Anything has made a name for itself among the best chrome extensions. Users particularly love the extension's compatibility with major video websites and social networks. According to a review by user "エール", the chrome video capture extension is "an amazing app" that has significantly improved their online engagement. Another user, Florian v. Rooij, has been "searching for this for ages," and was thrilled when he finally found Fullscreen Anything.
The extension is not just about watching videos or streaming services; it's also about enhancing your overall browsing experience. User Delaney Olson mentions how it works great with games, although they pointed out challenges in getting it to work occasionally.
Is Fullscreen Anything Perfect?
While Fullscreen Anything has received a plethora of positive reviews, it's worth noting that there are areas for improvement. It is important to consider these factors when deciding if Fullscreen Anything is the right chrome extension for your browsing and entertainment needs.
The Future of Fullscreen Anything
The developers of Fullscreen Anything are committed to continually improving the extension's features and functionality. They welcome feedback and aim to provide an update in response to user suggestions. For instance, an update is in the works to address an issue with the new YouTube "cinematics" background fade feature.
In conclusion, Fullscreen Anything is more than just a chrome extension. It's a tool that has revolutionized the way we watch, stream, and experience online content. Despite minor issues, it remains a top-rated choice, proving that it's not just a simple video player, but a lifestyle upgrade that enhances our online engagement and entertainment experiences.

Works fine but Google warns This extension may soon no longer be supported because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions. I will request to the author to update the extension as soon as possible.
perfect
works fine for me watching French Open
Nice and workable ! Great job and thanks !
Works beautifully for Solarmovie since, as mentioned by Carter below, fullscreen also doesn't work there normally for some reason. If you have installed the addon while you already had a tab with a video open, make sure to do this: 1 Refresh the tab 2 Click on the addon's icon (or press ctrl+space) 3 Press F11
Awsome i use it for 123 movies the full screen on there dosn't work lol
thank you
working nicely, but sadly does not work with frameless windows (--chrome-frame)
Works perfectly thank the lord!!
A bit buggy, prob about 75% success rate, but that's 75% more instances that I was able to go full screen when I wouldn't have been able to otherwise . TikTok website is a prime example. Super buggy, bordering on not worth the trouble. An "off-label" (but extremely handy) use in addition to obvious "on-label" uses: even when platforms DO allow full screen video, many of them think it's cool to still serve visitors w/ pop-ups/overlays, etc., completely polluting the screen's real estate (NOT cool with the video in full screen mode! Honor/observe the standards, f**ktards!) However, if you use Fullscreen Anything in such instances, the ONLY thing you'll see aside from the video is the extension's OSD (progress bar) and that's only when you move the mouse to the bottom of the screen and click. Otherwise, ALL pop-ups, annotations, end cards, intermission cards, reminders, etc. may as well not exist as far as we're concerned (I think they're actually still there, just underneath this extension, so, "out of sight, out of mind"). This has come in handy more times than I can effectively express to instantly eradicate all unwanted noise and be left with just the desired video file. So, thanks Dev! Keep up the good work! If you just squash the occasional bug here and there, Fullscreen Anything will ultimately get the recognition it deserves General note to users/reviewers - before you leave a negative rating and review, try disabling all other extensions and see if the problem persists. If it does, let the developer know and give them a chance to squash the bug or at least offer some helpful input. if they don't respond or at least acknowledge your issue after a reasonable amount of time, all bets are off and it's fair game to speak your truth. Just keep in mind that ratings/reviews are a big deal for devs and just a couple of poor reviews can be a death blow to the software/extension/etc. (even a solitary negative review can be a nail in the coffin for new projects or those with little to no preexisting user feedback). In closing, don't drop a 1 star rating/predominantly nasty review without considering whether you've ruled out everything on your end (user error, interference from other apps/extensions/etc., etc.) and confirmed that the rating and review are fair/justified.
Aspect ratio not honored. Doesn't go full screen either
Doesn't work at all. I click the icon and it does nothing
exactly what I wanted.
Doesn't scale video to the window size. Still useful just not nearly as good as it should be.
Absolutely does not do what I expected it to. Ctrl+Space does nothing on most websites. I have to have multiple windows open and to be "full screen" within each of those individual windows. This app does not let you do that. KINDA works for videos (kind of, doesn't seem consistent).
Exactly what I want. It works on non-Youtube video sites too so I can have full-window size display of these videos. Thanks.
Not work!
pretty useless... doesn't do anything.
This is an amazing app!! I'm so moved. I'm grateful to have encountered this app <3.
